But if you want to meet people playing on your skill level just launch the ranked game.. I love getting matched against high-tiered players just because learning it is. If you are being outplayed — you learn and that’s what fun actually is supposed to be.. And I think I am not the only one person that won’t be happy someday to be forced to play with players from their elo in Ranked 5v5, in Flex 5v5, in Flex 3v3, in Normal Draft and even Normal Blind Pick with no chances of getting greatly challenged by really good players from higher tiers. I enjoy playing those “braindead” games you are talking about, at least in normals, that’s why they’re there. If you enjoy tryharding, then play ranked, that’s why they’re there, to give you a challenge. It should be as simple as that honestly. My teammates cared and cried way more about that game than I did, so they decided to blame it all on me once they realized the game was lost.

6) ELO – People always talking about ELO and whatnot, your ELO is hidden, get over it. It doesn’t matter what it is you’re still susceptible to the system they’re matchmaking you upon. Bringing it up is just reiterating reason 5.
Recently the Player Behavior team has been seeing a lot of questions about matchmaking. Does ELO Hell exist? Based on our data and analysis, the answer is no. However, that does not mean that the pain many of our players feel is invalid. Many players feel that, through no fault of their own, they are stuck in a situation where they can no longer progress. And there are several key factors that can heavily contribute to this feeling.
The first of these is that when we take a look across all games, some players actually require a pretty high number of games to reach their true matchmaking rating. For these players, what feels like an unsurpassable wall may end up being just a small road bump.
OP 4 man teams are depopulating BG’s, a rating system is needed.
The problem with esports scene for Europe is simple. We are too big of a region. Majority of prime regions consist of only one single country, then there are more wide regions consisting of few similar countries, Europe on other hand Even League of Legends servers for Europe are 2, imagining that pro scene can works as single piece would be delusional. Majority of pro level sports in Europe work because they are based on country leagues of which best teams only compete in whole European league.
2 responses to “LoL: Should TT have a separate ELO system?”. Joe says. actualy. the ELO system should be removed completely. it does not do what they say it does, i highly doubt it is even intended to do what they say it does. the simple fact is that ELO is the biggest problem with LOL ruining the game more than leavers/feeders/trash talkes /bots/hackers combined.
Someone posted a Devourer Irelia video on the LoL subreddit and it seemed reasonably effective. The main issue I see is that her clear might be a bit slow early, but she should have a healthy clear. Targeted gapcloser and slow or stun, plus true damage so her ganks should hurt. AoE ult on a low cooldown and so on. Might not be optimal per se, but probably easier to be effective with than jungle Twitch.
I wouldn’t even say she’s all that slow, honestly, and it’s a lot easier than Twitch. I would argue that the reason she’s not played jungle is more because of how effective her kit is in lane; if you jungle her, you’re missing out on her passive and Q reset strength. My vorpal blade is now a floating shieldy-thing?
Tips For Earning More IP In LOL
Get in there and fight for supremacy. Open Arenas become unlocked at level 30, giving you plenty of time to lay through them before cap. This should help take the heat off of some of the individuals who might be squishier or just less skilled, as everyone shares a respawn pool, but when things get down to the wire, there will be some definite strategy involved in utilizing this feature to the max.
There will be a timer in deciding if you will respawn and when you spawn, so if your healer comes in dead after you, it might be wise to forfeit your own spawn to give your team the best chance. This aspect of Arenas adds a promising bit of strategy and challenge.

Most players want to climb their way to Diamond and brag about it to their friends. During games, players often get frustrated at losing and blame others for their own failings. This vicious circle eventually ends with them back where they started, or sometimes even worse. Don’t let yourself be one of them. With the recent start of Season 8, many players are eagerly playing their placement matches and are already starting to climb the ranks.
To help you reach the division of your dreams we have compiled some excellent tips and tricks on what you can do in-game to make yourself a better player. From how to manage your losing streaks to which champion to pick, there are plenty of things you can learn to improve your game. There are currently 7 leagues, although we are really only interested in the first five; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Each league apart from the Master and Challenger can be separated out into five different divisions, ranging from V to I. The lowest available place for a player is Bronze Division V Also known as Bronze 5 and this is considered one of the hardest places to climb out from. The whole Bronze league has become known as ELO hell – although this is widely debated.

Pet Peeves Pet Peeves Each and every game I play, there ends up being some sort of irritation or annoyance factor. Well, part of me is starting to think that there is some sort of correlation here, so I’m compiling a list of “Pet Peeves” that I find in League of Legends. We’ll categorize them, as well. Let’s start off with what we like about the game: League Likes Social game, make lots of friends – I have never found so many friends in League as with other games, so kudos to you Riot for creating a friendly gaming environment!
Competitive game, make lots of money or fame – players can take it to the next level and compete for cash prizes, which is so awesome Great champion designs I don’t care what other people say, I actually like Riot’s champion designs! L2P Large community – keeps the nostalgia going and lots of creativity regarding artwork, videos, music, and more Low wait time for game queue – yeah, I like the short wait time for games.
Item system is stupendous – No searching around in “secret shops” for items, then lose all of your gold from enemy ganks on your way there Ability to shop when you’re dead – yeah, this one is pretty good, so you can “hit the ground running” as soon as you revive Keep your gold when you die – I hate losing gold when I die! This game solves that problem.

Share Save “Elo hell” is a term that gets thrown around a lot in League of Legends. If you’re actively working to improve your skill at the game, either you’ve been in Elo hell or you are still there. The term comes from the Elo rating system that League of Legends uses for its matchmaking. Because matchmaking has to deal with three or five players on each side, there’s a lot of potential for a bad match.
